Billy S.
Sober Coach
In 2005, Billy began serving as counselor & group facilitator at highly respected addiction treatment centers. Shortly, Billy was offered some additional training and an opportunity to enter Sober Coaching. He’s never left it. He says, “The work chose me more than I chose the work… I knew after a month of coaching that this is what I wanted to do with my life.” Billy has been able to practice every facet of this field: from intermittent coaching (a few per day, a few hours per week) to 24/7 jobs, sometimes several months at a time. Billy’s education includes two years of college-level courses, private studies, and CAADAC certification.
Darbi G.
Sober Coach
Darbi G. came into recovery over a decade ago, and has been building her life coaching, health, and mindfulness practice for the last six years. One of Darbi’s catchphrases became an instant classic: “The longer one adopts a new behavior, the easier it becomes to live that new behavior.” Her coaching practice is antithetical to the old school, ‘Don’t-take-that-drink-or-else’ mindset. Darbi believes in modeling behavior and attitude for young women, and it’s this behavior practice that helps a younger woman embrace her transformation from adolescence into healthy, vibrant adulthood. Darbi believes in a truly holistic approach to treating substance abuse and the co-occurring mental disorders that plague so many young women.
